Vegas Fashion Week

Vegas was the center for Fashion this past week.  People came from all over the World to partake in the conventions.  The festivities took place Aug.16-21st. 
     As a buyer...what convention do I attend?? Where can I find the best items for my store?  Shows like Off Price, Accessories the Show, and Magic are all happening simultaneously.  How do I know where I fit? 
      We sat down with Todd Fabos (marketing/publishing manager) and Stephen Kroqulski (CEO) from Off Price, to get an insiders account of what it's all about. 
       Off Price started in 1994, then located @ Debbie Reynolds.  They have since made their home the Sans Expo@ The Palazzo/ Venetian. The  OffPrice show offers clothing, footwear, and accessories. 
      OffPrice offers fashions 70% below wholesale prices, setting them apart from other conventions due to their great prices, as well as quality.  Items are stocked and ready to be shipped immediately.  A favorite feature for us is their cash & carry section.  Accessories we purchased and took off the showroom floor immediately. 
      There is A lot to see during the 4 day convention, OffPrice offers buyers tours the 1st 3 days of the show helping maximize time spent on showroom floor.
      Overall, OffPrice is a "Must-attend"convention for retailers looking to stock their store w/great finds.  Follow OffPrice and stay connected.

Fashion week in Vegas

Fashion week in Vegas consisted of different expos and Fashion events.  Our Focus was on The Off Price Expo & MAGIC.  Both Expos were eventful, but slightly different in a few ways.. Next post background imformation on both shows.

Stylish celebrity of the week

Our Pick for the Most stylish celeb for the week is Brook Burns actress and host for the new game show "The Chase".  The Chase  Aired last week August 6th, on  GSN, the show is a lot of Fun but I watch Everything with an interest in what the characters are wearing.  Brook burns wore an Up scale fun, flirty strapless black dress, with sparkly heels,Very elegant and sweet.  I will tune in this week to see how fabulous she will be looking, while speaking a mile a minute through competition.

Summer style

A Staple for this years Summer wardrobe is a cute Sparkly pair of sandals.  These are perfect for evening outings, and afternoon picnics.  They can be paired with long flowing skirts, short daisy dukes, or jeans.  Every Gal Needs a pair to sport in her Own Fun, way.  And brand works as long

Polka dots

Polka dots are timeless...Fashion expert/designer Betsy Johnson says So!!  Polka dots are fun, and can be worn so many ways,  In so many styles.  The classic Black and white or Red and White combination isn't the only way this style can be displayed. Check out an example and get something with polka dots to sport this summer!!

The Real Daytime

Fashion Forward times 5.  Check out the Women on The Real Daytime, Jeannie Mai(stylist/host) Tamerra mowry (Actress), Tamar Braxton(Singer), Loni Love(comedian), Adrienne Bailon(singer/host).  They All have their own personality and Style to go with it.  It's a New Entertaining Daytime show with fun guests daily and cool activities.  One day they had cooking tips, the next make up tips.  Everyday the have Great Fashion looks.  You like a show with people easy on the eyes and you're looking forward to see what they look like.  Check out @therealjeanniemai for show times

Melrose Ave. The "B" Store

The "B" Store located @7708 Melrose ave W. Hollywood is a Diamond in the rough Literally!! With the decline of Specialty Boutiques on Melrose Blvd The "B" Store can be over looked. Melrose has changed from the Unique shopping experience that it used to deliver, but there are still a few HOT Spots left.  The "B" Store features Talented Fashion Forward designers.  You can find anything from Heels, boots, clothes, to accessories etc.  There is Something  for Everyone at an affordable price.  Not only Great finds, also a  Fun shopping Experience!! Making a Statement

Always make a Statement when you walk out of the house.  Even wearing flip flops can be stylish and fashion savy.  These shoes say "A.K.A" Or " I Rock"..etc...One shoe Many, different Meanings!! What do the say to you??

A Fashion designer's Prospective

Fashion should be celebrated daily.  We feel that You should wear what makes you comfortable, but also Unique.  Our motto: Why blend in STAND OUT!!  Your style is what you make it, not what others think you should wear. Unless you have No clue then go with what others chose, but YOU feel Wonderful wearing!! What about fashion makes you feel Wonderful??
